Shiloh Industries Inc. opens aluminum die casting plant in Tennessee

Shiloh Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: SHLO), a supplier of lightweighting, noise and vibration products, said it has opened an aluminum die casting plant in Tennessee on a brownfield site the company bought it August 2013.
The company said it estimates it will invest more than $20 million and add 150 jobs at the plant during the next five years. The plant in Clarksville, Tenn., is about 125,000 square feet and is one of Shiloh’s five large tonnage, high-pressure die casting facilities in the United States.
“Shiloh has received strong demand for our industry-leading portfolio of lightweighting solutions,” said Ramzi Hermiz, president and CEO of Shiloh Industries, in a news release. “We are investing and expanding our operations to meet customer demand, and are continually focused on leading with technology to develop products and solutions that address industry pinch points.”
